Nate is NaShuntae’s father.
Nate is the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives for Eli Lilly and Company, and a prominent figure in the national healthcare, community and non-profit sectors. Nate graduated from the University of Washington. 21 years before his daughter, he was elected to serve as the Washington DECA State President in 1978. Nate sits on a range of charity boards in his native Seattle and beyond.
Chris is NaShuntae’s friend.
Chris is the CEO of STORE, a decentralized cloud computing protocol. He formerly served as the National DECA President in 2002, and before that, inspired by NaShuntae, the Washington DECA State President in 2001. Chris
graduated from the
University of Washington where he started his first tech
company as a freshman.
20 years later, he’s continuing to invent across computing,
decentralization, and philanthropy.
Bryan is NaShuntae’s coach.
Bryan is an executive at Wells Fargo who leads the bank’s consumer and small business diverse customer strategies. Before joining Wells Fargo, Bryan was a Leadership Specialist for Washington DECA and had the opportunity to teach and learn from state officers, including NaShuntae. NaShuntae and Bryan both grew up in Pasco, WA.
NaShuntae was elected by fellow members of Washington DECA to serve as the State President in 1999.
Washington DECA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that prepares emerging high school leaders and entrepreneurs in Washington State for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management.
